Hatshepsut

In honor of the fifth pharaoh of Egypt during the 18th dynasty. Hatshepsut  or Maatkare was the second female pharaoh.  Her long rule had been a time of peace and prosperity, filled with magnificent art and a number of projects, the greatest of which was her mortuary, or memorial, temple at Deir el-Bahri. The collection wouldn't be complete without  one of the few female monarchs of our  history.
